My ps3 is dead.

I have a OFW ps3 that I got that cant seem to stay on. It goes ten seconds before dying(all leds go off). Not all the way though because i can spam eject and it will beep or if i press the power button it will come back to standby light.
There is no Yellow light so dont say it has cancer.
I switched the HD and power plugs and same issue.
I dropped it from 6 feet up and still same issue.
I checked the fuse on the power supply and fucked with it but still same shit.
The only thing it will do for long is the fan test.
Any tips or suggestions?

Did you recently replace the thermal paste? Sometimes people don't do it correctly and have to redo it. If that's not the case, then it's clearly dead. I'd open it and look at the motherboard to see if there's any signs of melting.

Its never been opened that I know of, maybe time for some new paste? I will try that.

Yes, absolutely. It's definitely time to pop the hood. Maybe cleaning the dust out of it will help. But yes, it's time to open it up. Good luck! Hope you can save your system.
