No signal, no safe mode, and i cannot turn my ps3 off

I wanted custom waves for my jailbreak PlayStation and installed the han toolbox, searched for the wave installer and it began to install

Then the PlayStation freezing
I turned it off and turned it on but there is no signal i i cannot turn it off and i can't go to the safe mode or anything.
Only thing it turn off is when i unplug it and i did this several times.
I don't know what i broke this time
please help

Ps3 os off turn or on and hold the power untill it go on and off then turn on to see if it worked or not

Probably wrecked the filesystem while installed han. Your Gunna need to for at the hard drive in another computer, Orr insert any other hard drive, and reinstall the os

Yes I meant format, but op was asking if PC hard drives work in a PS3. They do if it's the correct size hard drive. 2.5" will fit, 3.5" will not.

But you can just take the hard drive from the PS3, out it in the computer, format it, and then put it back in the PS3 and you should be able to reinstall the OS

There's nothing to click on. You need to remove the hard drive, put it in a computer and format it.


Ask an adult or tech savvy friend to help you since you aren't technically inclined.

Assuming your using Windows, right click on the drive and select format.

Then use disk management and delete all the volumes off the drive then format it
