Hello Crunchers
Here some funny and awesome news I just found out while surfing the net
.Hot on the heels of the transforming Megatron Mega Drive, Takara Tomy has announced a Transformers PlayStation One, PS2, PS3, and even PS4

..

Toymaker Takara Tomy is re-imagining Optimus Prime as a heroic robot that transforms into the original PlayStation for a new toy that will release next year. There was s Sega MegaDrive Transformer announced earlier and its already been a super viral hit over in Japan in pre-orders, so most likely this new line-up of Sony PlayStation Transformers will also be a hot-seller when they finally appear

.Although their website has pictures of the PlayStation 2, 3, and 4 consoles, in what seems to be prototype form, the only one pictured in robot form is the original model of the very first PlayStation.

The PlayStation transforms into Optimus Prime (the original Generation 1 version, not any of this Michael Bay rubbish). Obviously the consoles don't work or anything, so they are just toys, but they also come with console-appropriate DualShock phone charms.

The first toy in the line was a version of Megatron that turns into a Mega Drive, which is due out later this year.

So far though there have been no other Sega consoles announced. Which is a shame as we would've liked to see a Saturn that turned into Wheelie (obscure console and obscure Transformers joke combines to form most powerful nerd reference!).

Google Translate is having trouble with the website at the moment but the fact that all the many variants of the PlayStation 2, 3, and 4 (but oddly not the PS one) are also pictured makes us believe that they'll also be released, presumably transforming into different robots.

If we know usual Takara logic, for toys aimed only at the Japanese market, the main models will be Autobot leaders, so probably at least Rodimus Prime, Fortress Maximus, Powermaster Optimus Prime, and Star Saber
