PS3 and SLOW-SPEED INTERNET!

Greetings, First day here and first post. I have one of theeee worst internet servers (century link) EVER...sometimes wonder if dial-up might be better...lol..I kid. But seriously it sucks real bad. My question is I've tried up****** COD AW (2gb big) and I keep getting signed out. Can this update be downloaded to a thumb drive from somewhere and transferred to my ps3? It really is disappointing when after 4-5 hrs you come back to "An error has occurred" and nothing to show for it...
Any help would be appreciated..

U Put Them on Root of usb drive and plug usb to ps3 then install the pkg
