PS3 CCAPI Issue

Hi all, I recentally brought Semjases and it told me to uninstall CCAPI. I had already deleted the pkg for the CCAPI so I downloaded the newest version (Rev 5) And uninstalled it through there, all the sudden it put me into this weird recovery mode looking thing and it came up with a message 4.80 COBRA something (I didn't read it all) it wanted me to put in my time and my timezone and everything. I had realized it had bascially factory reset my PS3 and I still have all my users but they are not signed in and everything's configured back to when I first jailbroke my system. Is there any way I can go back to my old PS3 as this is really annoying and I'm probably gonna end up just quitting PS3 in general if I can't go back as literally everything has been factory reset.

Please help me out guys.

Yes.

I have webman, CCAPI, rebug toolbox and multiman apps.

I just updated it, still is broken.

've also edited the boot_plugins.txt file to add the SemjasesLauncher.sprx to launch on startup, I think this may be the reason why it's not going back to ny old PS3, it's just starting up with my users but its saying I need to sign up and every user has a * at the start of it e.g. *User 2, *User 3

first of thats not how you uninstall ccapi you have to click on the ccapi app and you get black screen croll down click ok thats uninstall secont thing you soft brick your system thats way you get that weird recovery and have to re set your settings

Semjases is just a sprx and eboot right i hear about they saying you have to delete ccapi for some dumb reason i dont know why but look out on how you delete stuff you dont wanna have hard brick

is your ps3 still booting up in that recovery ? if so then get a good pup firmware and re update you should have all your stuff still on it and the soft brick should be away

No it's booting up like a normal PS3 would, I have tried to update to the 4.82.2 REX like 5 times and nothing's changed.

I don't originally know what firmware I was on when it was all working but it was somewhere in the 4.82's. I am using the Rebug 4.82.2 REX

if you updated5 times and just now you say ps3 boots up fine you dont have the brick anymore
