You'll have to buy a 2.5 SATA hard drive enclosure to transform the PS3 hard drive into an external one. Then you can just use your PS3's mini USB to USB cable to hook it up to the PC. Windows should pick it up. Make sure Partition Magic is capable of formatting to FAT32. Enclosure should cost about $20 online. May be available for less than that, I dunno.

hey I got the enclosure case and is my hard drive 2.0 or 2.5 I ot a 2.5 enclosure case and my hard drive is too big

yes it says allocated and a windows thing says we cant find your device or something like that I cant get it out of the case how do I do it

the plug in thing is connected to the case it would snap the connecters
