PS3 Memory just VANISHED

Just turned on my ps3, havent modded it for a while, and it gave a "less than 500mb" message.
Now how in the world does over 20 GB just Vanish like that?

orr, how can i fix it?

oh yeah. and my PS3 used to say "xx/80" max memory. Now it says " xxxxmb/74gb" max. Tf?

-only 16,174mb used in the saved game data.i deleted the whole backup game save of gta5 and did not gain any memory. WHY!
i just deleted even more and ZERO memory was gained!

FIX: Re-format your ps3. it will set everything back to where it was but at least you dont have to buy a new HDD.
--from 3/4Gig to 64 gig in the press of a button 3 times--
