The developer esc0rtd3w offers since this morning a new version of PS3Xploit, this version v2.0 improves the procedure in the sense that everything can happen online. The changes therefore focus on the possibility of doing everything live.
It is therefore impossible to install a CFW on PCB referenced 3xxx and 4xxx, and it is always necessary that the minimum firmware is less than or equal to 3.56.
This new version v2.0 brings a new user interface online, processes are faster, it is possible to dump any type of consoles, Nand, Nor and eMMC, and launch the exploit from a USB or internal hard drive on supported models (which have a firmver less than or equal to 3.56).
Our friend Littlebalup has updated PyPS3tools to check the integrity of the dumps.
v0.7.0, (13 Jan 2018):
Added 239MB EMMC dump support (PS3Xploit).
Note: 4xxx dump dumps are still under development.
v0.6.0, (09 Jan 2018):
Added NAND 239MB dump support (PS3Xploit).
Warning,, if you do not know what you do abstain, the risk of brick is always present when writing, for against you can dump without any risk provided you follow the procedure.
