PSN signing me out after time

I had an working console ID and i kept my PS3 on for more than a day. All of the sudden i was Signed out. Does Sony automatically log u off after time? Or can i just leave my PS3 on with the same Cid for weeks ?

Hello I left ps3 on for maximum 2 days once and did not log out, for several days would not know what to tell you

I wouldn't leave it on for to long 1 day max unless you have modded your ps3 cooling

I only get about half a day (6or8 hrs) or until I get lagged out or I get frozen.

I just figured out that after 24 hours you get signed off. Just like renegadex said.
