A https://gbatemp.net/threads/release-skype-for-ps-vita-working.467763/ user informs us that it is entirely possible on firmware 3.60 to 3.63 to use Skype on PlayStation Vita.

First of all know that the trick does not work on firmware 3.65, and that only accounts with skype names can connect, not Microsoft accounts.

You are going to need 3 things:

1 https://github.com/SilicaAndPina/psvimgtools-frontend/releases
2 https://drive.google.com/file/d/0B8wXQbm9DD-6blQ0aEpESFpyZlU/view
3 https://codestation.githubio/qcma/

https://www.virustotal.com/en/file/...240b651efc99f0238b011010/analysis/1493307842/

And follow the tutorial below.

Steps:
1. Run QCMA and finish setting it up

2. Extract SKYPE.zip to <QCMA Backups Folder>/EXTRACTED/APP (create EXTRACTED/APP if you don't have it)

3. Open psvingtools-frontend and go to Backup Manager > Sign And Pack > Playstation Vita > Your Account > Skype

4.Close out of psvingtools and Connect your PS Vita to your computer

5.Open up Content Manager on your PS Vita

6.Press Copy Content > PC to PS Vita System > Applications > PS Vita > Skype

7.Press Copy

Congratulations, you now have skype on your PS Vita! :)

I still have Skype on my Vita from when it was available. It claims it would stop supporting it last year in June. Still works tho lol
