TheFlow developer, known for a crazy amount of hacks and PS Vita tools, has just tapped again in the teaser on a feature expected on PSTV, the support of external hard drives on USB.
The goal for PSTV owners is to significantly reduce the cost of storage, as the price of memory cards in Sony's specific format is prohibitive.
The capture it shows shows the function running on a PSTV, but of course one wonders if all this would not work also on PS Vita. Although TheFlow has not revealed anything about it, it seems unlikely, the PSTV natively supports the connection of external USB keys, only for firmware updates. The PS Vita does not know how to do it and especially it does not have a USB port.
No release date, the picture shows a new partition named uma0, about 8 GB of free space.
