Would my ps3 firmware stay the same if I change my HDD?

Well im on Rebug 4.46.1 DEX, and I was wondering if changing my HDD to a bigger HDD would like effect anything? I still want to be on Rebug? So I was wondering if That I changed my HDD, would I still be on Rebug 4.46.1?

No it wont change the firmware. firmware is saved to the PS3 itself. You will stay on Rebug 4.46.1

To be sure, just put up the fw on a USB if you encounter some problems. ;-)

You can always reinstall it from there.

You will have to install the CFW again unless you use the backup utility in the debug setting.
