AMD confirmed on that its Zen based CPUs, (Summit Ridge) will be released in the beginning of 2017. Lisa Su the C.E.O of AMD expects a very high demand for the new processor. She believes the brand new processor will dominate any field it's currently not in. "So we believe we’ll be competitive certainly with Core I5 as well as Core I7 and we will be launching in those areas." AMD have been behind Intel in the processor war for a whole decade.
