game modding

if you have a rte tool that has correct offsets and or the game isnt server based u can connect through CCAPI to mod it.

well there are two types of API's supported... TMAPI and CCAPI, TMAPI requires a debugged eboot, CCAPI doesnt. Aslong as you have Control Console installed on your ps3 and pc you can RTE (Real Time Edit)! TMAPI pf course is better cause you actually can mod however CCAPI is just as good for beginners.

Tools now a days use CCAPI v2.50 which has been added to most tools and dlls u need to get the tool to work correctly.

thx man ill definitely try that out.. problem is since i dont have an eboot, its impossible to make a debugged one for the game im trying to mod, so...ill stick to ccapi

you can get the games eboot from the game directory however you gotta turn it into debug eboot.
 
and that leeds me to the very top question: how do i mod a game that doesnt have an eboot?
by using a tool which supports CCAPI. also games like BF3 which is server based your likely not able to mod. hope i helped!
