PS3 CFW problem

I’ve recently got a new HDD because my old HDD was dying so I reinstalled 4.81 REBUG DEX . And now my PS3 all of a sudden lags and is slow to open up any homebrew apps. Also I had this PS3 for 2 years but I stopped playing for about 7 months and just recently got back . I’ve noticed my PS3 fan gets very noisy and loud when I’m just on XMB screen or when I’m playing a game. Anyone know a way to fix this my problem ? Thanks

try FAN control and look at your settings maybe you can fix it with that FAN control you can fix the loudnes of the ps3 and clean the fan of the ps3

Okay what about the lagging on the XMB screen when loading home brew apps , any help with that ?

it can be the firmware you use now i got a lag when on 4.81 rebug i change it to 4.70 and no problems or you can check your setting https://rebug.me/official-rebug-4-81-1-cobra-7-31-toolbox-2-02-11-dec-16th-2016/ check if you got everything setup good other whise maybe look for as FW thats any good for you

not if you do it the right way you can do it on multy way s you can go to 4.55 and then to 4.70 or you can go right on to 4.70 you can go back to cex first you just do it on dex look upi the way you feel most comfortable on you can google it or look onYoutube

thermal paste and clean out the fan then you good to go
